Lake Fair

I attended a children's day at a park before the Lake Fair Parade. I worked with a group of women and a couple men at a arts and crafts booth. I helped children make dragons out of green and red paper with some eyes. They were so cute making them. I had a blast!!! When i was done i went to the Governors hotel with the Lake Fair Royalty and got ready with them for the parade. The Lake Fair Royalty made me feel at home, they were all so sweet and were so interested in the Miss Thurston County program. When we were all dazzled up in our heels, gowns, and crowns/tiaras we headed down to our limo and rolled out onto the street like royalty should to our starting spots. I sat in the car for about an hour before we got to drive down the street. My pageant little sister Danielle rode beside me in the car. She is such a sweetheart. Full of lots of excitement and funny stories. While we were waiting we both passed out and took a nap....lol it was very unexpected and just happened. When we woke up it was time to go. The parade was fun and extremely wet. It rained the whole time!!! The convert able car i rode in got wet inside...which was quite a bummer but turned out to be fine.
