Fun Run: Swede Days

Well, lets just say i was the water girl...hahaha. I truly was. Swede days is a fundraiser in Rochester where community members gather and do a 5k run. I was at the end of the run and when they passed through the finish line i handed the runners a water. I was not a water girl on my own....i had a water club....my water boys. We had a great time and laughed a lot about being the water boys/girl. At the end of the run we had a prize drawing. Everyone that participated was entered in the drawing for the cool prizes. They consisted of coffee mugs to x-box games...pretty much a mixed bag of gifts. I am so used to doing events in Olympia or Lacey, so it was nice to branch to another community in Thurston County.
