Preventing Drinking and Driving

In the past two days i have volunteered in 6 class rooms speaking about my platform "Preventing Drinking and Driving Through Education". It has been so successful and rewarding. I have spoke to a couple hundred kids in two days..at North Thurston High School and Tumwater High School...its amazing to know that i have made an impact on those kids lives. I love it and it is a great start to my platform and im so exctied to speak to high school students again on tuesday at Black Hills High School. Its crazy to see first hand how much peer pressure these kids are going through and help direct them into the right direction...to make safe choices!! I plan to of spoke to a thousand or more by the finish of my year as MTC. I love my job and its just the beginning!!!! MISS THURSTON COUNTY 2007~Kara-Ann Pedrini
