After going to
BHHS, i attended the Home and Garden Show. I was partnered up with
Mixx 96.1 announcing information....and well i was a bit chit chatty to so many people that after a few
announcements he said that i should just mingle to people because so many people were interested in what i am doing as Miss Thurston County....so
that's what i did. I talked till my voice started to sound scratchy...
im good for that. I ran into the University of Washington hat guy again and had a long talk with him, he introduced me to his younger son and i talked with him for a bit. I should add that his son is a very intelligent child. I also saw many other community members i have volunteered with and met some new people. I ran into Jerry the Marketing Manager with Roxy 9405 and he put me on the radio to talk about the home and garden event. I told him about the
MTC organization and gave him some info about the program in hopes that he will help with some marketing or sponsoring for our program. This women that was an usher at the door was very sweet, she asked me a lot of questions about the pageant and what i do as Miss Thurston County, she was just in ah of all my accomplishments and she told me "i hope my daughter turns out like you", i thought it was so sweet! I gave her some of my pageant appearance details and she said she is going to give it to her daughters teacher at
Griffen Elementary so i can volunteer in her class room. The funny thing is i have volunteered there before in a kindergarten class already.
Griffen Elementary is a great school, has great teachers, with great education for their students. After this long day i was ready to go home and go to sleep. My directors
often exhaust me
lol, they know i love them and they know
I'm capable of all
they have me do. After working two jobs and pageant
appearances and
ahh school starting
I'm back to being a busy girl....but you know what i live a busy life and i
wouldn't have it any other way.
